Loving what we do is a starting point; loving what you do, however, is key to it all.

In education, the student should be the reason for everything; that's why it's your experience, your success that drives us at the Northern Music Academy.

We are an events based teaching facility, catering to all. Since music has the power to enrich almost every life, we want to share it with as many people as possible. Hence we cater to the widest range of students of any facility, anywhere.

Serving West Yorkshire from our central Pontefract location, near A1/M62 junction, we welcome students - all 'real' people - beginners of all ages, as well as advanced musicians and professionals in training.

Instead of any one qualification, you'll enjoy a range of options; or, if you prefer, you can simply learn for pleasure, without necessarily taking any grade at all. And when you do prepare for music grades, it should be at a point that's right for you.

Our teachers share a fundamental love of music - just like you! Together, they have the skills, the desire and the experience to take you from where you are now, and help propel you towards your goals. You, in turn, should be ready to work towards a more musical future. Contacting us is the first step, and may prove to be one of the best things you do all year.
