Hugely experienced, both as a performer and teacher, Darrell began performing aged 11, becoming semi-professional from 12. His performing career has taken him around Britain and Europe, with venues such as Queen Elizabeth Hall London, plus numerous appearances at Birmingham’s prestigious Symphony Hall, as both soloist and Musical Director.
While he has limited his professional appearances since 2002, preferring to devote himself to his pivotal role as Founding Principal of the Northern Music Academy, Darrell remains active as a composer, particularly for solo piano.
For a number of years Evie attended lessons at school. Since attending Northern Music, however, Evie has really excelled and she really enjoys her lessons.
