Background

Keith grew up in the sixties & started playing guitar from the age of eight, listening to the Beatles, The Hollies, The Rolling Stones & the Yardbirds then later Ritchie Blackmore & Jimmy Page.

Though a true rock virtuoso, Keith has command of an eclectic range of guitar styles embracing rock/ funk/ soul/ jazz/ blues and country influences.

Keith made his professional debut as a guitarist in the mid seventies when, aged sixteen, he appeared at the Legendary Marquee Club in London supporting Ashton, Gardener & Dyke with his first band, Child. Child went on to have three top 30 singles and two hit albums. Moving into the 1980’s, Keith toured the world with a diverse array of rock and pop acts including Bonnie Tyler, Shakin’ Stevens, David Cassidy, Rick Astley, Jocelyn Browne, Barry Manilow and many others.

Keith has also composed music for film and television and worked on many TV themes, including The Fast Show, Rory Bremner, Jo Brand, Harry Hill, and has worked at Abbey Road studios on the soundtrack of the movie Cemetery Junction with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. Keith continued writing and recording with Grammy-nominated rocker John Parr, who had number 1 hits in the UK and the US with St Elmo’s Fire.
Keith is now recording a debut hard rock album with his own band ATACK, whose band members include Chris Childs on bass (from the band Thunder), Bob Richards on drums, (recently recording with AC/DC), and Lee Small on lead vocals, (formerly with Lionheart).
